Who am I???

In some of my chats with my friends, it came out the topic of adolescence. I pointed out that it was a very important stage in everybody's life, because when we are teenagers, we form our identity, some people don't have problems to figure this out, but there are others who do have problems. Society, family, school, friends and more things are external factors that help or delay this discovery of ourselves. The main difficulty to find our identity is our parents expectations, I can't blame them to wish the best for uurselves, nor to wish to have perfect sons or daughters, from wich they can be proud, but is precisely this expectations the ones that do not allow us to experience and to live fully.

To have an identity takes time, and patience. The most important thing, that everyone must think, is that no one can make you be something that you aren't. Everyone is special in their own way, and our personality, our family, our friends help us to know who we are, it's when you stop being friend, son or daughter, student, confident, etc, and begin being yourself when you can say you've found your identity. Not that you will not be a friend, son, student, etc anymore, but rather being all of those separated in one.
