Something to believe...

I was raised catholic, and i like my religion in many things, but i disagree in several things, starting for the discrimination against gay people. I have done a few research about other religions and their beliefs. Many of them do not discriminate homosexuality as hard as the catholic religion, though, it depends if everyone will follow that example. Catholic religion is full of punishments, and in some way, it has just a few rewards for following the rules. On the other hand, budism and hinduism have an eficient way to advise the best way of living, they have few rules, and the concept of 'karma' has atracted me in so many ways, mostly because it punishes whenever you've done something bad, and rewards you when you do something good. This same concept is applied in the wiccan religion, but it has other name called the law of three; it has the same principle, the difference is that when you do something good or bad, it comes back to you in the same way but multiplied by three.

Another thing that i don't precisely like of the catholic religion is the discrimination against woman, you will say that it doesn't, but you must look in the past of the religion to find this discrimination, beggining with the Genesis, Adan was created first, Eva was created from Adan, and she sinned, turning the woman in something evil and untrustworthy. Now, if we look to the wiccan religion we can find that the woman is the center of the religion, though, the man is not missing here, it also have a special role to play. The woman is the main simbol of life and birth, we would not exist if not for a woman. It is also explained by cientific facts, when we are fetus, in our development, we are, at the beggining, formed as woman. it's later when we have male characteristics.

All the religion has something that we might like and we might not, but it's the way we interpretate religion the reason to accept or reject it. We can find many interpretations and many points of view, and many religions. I, for myself, have decided to combine everything that i like from religions, also i have to accept rules and punishments, like the ones i've talked of before. Wich is your religion? or the religions you chose to believe in?
